WELCOME TO MY WORLD, currently shared with the green-eyed love of my life and  two Schnauzers, Sophie (the sofa dog) and Sir Francis Drake (the Drakester.)  Writing is part of the oxygen I now breathe living on a Minnesota hilltop surrounded by trees and wildlife on the fringe of a city known for the WFMC  (World Famous Mayo Clinic). Two major league DREAMS and a lot of COINCIDENCE were the bases I’ve tagged in my star-crossed NOVEL JOURNEY

MY SYLVAN RETREAT is a far cry from Miwaukee, Wisconsin, the bustling beer capital I was born and raised in, an only child who dared to dream her life could someday rival that of some of her favorite book heroines:  i.e. Scarlett O'Hara  & Claire Fraser.

A plane crash in the Shannon River spins Jessica’s Irish honeymoon into a wilderness of unexpected emotions. For Robbie, the heroic Irish time-traveler she met and married in Wyoming, it becomes more than a reunion to the homeland he left... in the nineteenth century.

Things have changed since then. The old manor house of his youth has become the honeymooners B&B, run by descendants of his best friend and the heiress of the estate. A hidden diary and the 104 year-old family healer reveal scandalous secrets, and consequences, that began with Robbie, and trickled down through generations.

Can he reset history and restore honor without losing Jessica, the soulmate he vowed to love “forever and a day”?

The Accidental Wife

Book  1 of the Accidental  Series

P&E Best Romance, Best Author & Golden Quill Finalist

Jessica Brewster is wary of emotional relationships after a nasty H.S. betrayal. When the beloved grandmother who raised her dies, she inherits a mysterious teacup that transports her back to 1886 in Old Fort Laramie, switching places with her look-alike great great grandmother-- wife to her ancestor's magnetic first husband and mother to his charming nine year old daughter. Can she pull off the charade and find a way back or will conscience and her twenty-first century "slips" expose her true identity? When true love and a gypsy derail her plans, she must decide whether her future lies in the past or the present she left behind.

"I absolutely loved The Accidental Wife and could not put it down. It is reminiscent of Outlander, so if you love Diana Gabaldon’s books, you’ll love this one. After reading a short Candy Hearts sweet contemporary "novelette" titled Hot Stuff by Fosdick, I fell in love with this author's storytelling, voice, and style right away."  Jean M. Grant, author of A Hundred Breaths.

"Spellbinding is a term that can be easily applied to the author's writing style. The books are rich in character development, landscape as character, and historic detail."  Arletta Dawdy, author of Rose of Sharon

Hot Stuff

Hot Stuff takes on double meaning when klutzy Kate is faced with rookie cop Dallas looking for a stolen lawn statue. In her quiet, crime-free Wisconsin village, Kate has her hands full writing slogans for candy hearts and keeping her kleptomaniac brother with Asperger’s Syndrome inside the law. Even her grandmother’s famous snickerdoodle cookies can’t ameliorate the crime when a stolen lawn statue turns out to be a drug dispenser. Will Kate rise above her concern of what Dallas’s uniform represents and admit the charming Texas rookie is the man of her dreams?

Reviews:  "A funny, entertaining heart warmer that grabbed me right away.. small town, big hearts!... Hot Stuff in more than one way.

Totally Fun, fast read! --"a laugh out loud bumbling caper with a side of slapstick and some gooey romance thrown in for good measure. And I loved every twisty minute! "

"Kate the Klutz and Dallas the cop end up dating, and their kisses steamed up my ereader. But the mystery of the missing lawn statue deepens, and Kate's not sure where she fits into the officers plans, making this book a fun, fast read and worth 5 candy hearts."
